Bankruptcy and how to fix your credit?

I filed Bankruptcy and it has been discharged for a year as of June and i went to pull my credit report some of the items that are on my credit report is still there they where not paid off. I still have balances on 15 accounts i filed chapter 13 and i have been trying to get in touch with the attorney i went through and he is no longer with this company. My credit score is 512 what can i do fix this problem i am 13,000.00 in debt because of this and i dont have that kind of money layng around the house should i consolidate them they are all old bills but i wanna fresh start. Please Help!!!

  1. I read the book Debt for dummies. It helped. Also, you might check with another lawyer, just to see if they can offer you advice. Or you could try with your State Bar, to try to find that lawyer.
  2. You have me confused. Were these debts listed in your bankruptcy? If so, then they are supposed to have been listed on your credit report as included in your bankruptcy and have no balance. Send a copy of your discharge papers to the credit bureau and dispute these listings.
