How do I fix this problem?
I recently moved and the move put me into more debt than i could ever imagine, i was late on my car payment and my dad lent me 600 and i told him Id give him the stimulus rebate check when I got it but had to use that when I did so they didnt cancel my insurance now for the last three weeks he keeps asking if I got the check and i keep saying i didnt, i hate lying but i really needed to pay that other bill, i cant pay him back and i dont know how to get that money my credit is pathetic anyone have any suggestions?

- Find ways to make some extra cash. Have a garage sale, collect alum cans, sell your blood/plasma, mow some lawns, get a second job ... It really sounds like you are living way beyond your means and need to set yourself up a budget. Start by carrying a notepad and writing down everything you spend money on. In a week you will be amazed at how much money you are wasting.
- You made a serious mistake lying to your father. Correct it immediately. Admit what you did and tell him you're sorry. If you are working, pay him back a little from each paycheck, even if it is only $10. It will show good faith. You may need to get a second job for a few months to dig yourself out of this hole. Meanwhile, do not spend an extra dollar anywhere. Keep yourself on a bare-bones budget. You will be amazed at the money you free up.
