How do you suggest we get this country back on track?
How can we fix our economy, the housing market, the huge debt, the war in Iraq, social security, health care, security flaws, environmental issues, diplomacy, our relations with other countries, American's jobs being sent to China, poverty, illegal immigrants, border security, education and the corrupt government who we are trusting to fix our problems. How are we going to fix all of these issues and get our country back after 7 years of complete incompetence in our government? KRR- I know the sky is not falling but how are we going to fix these problems?

- Vote for Ron Paul.
- Start by giving Congress an enema. You can stick the tube in Harry Reid.
- and the previous seven years of incompetence prior to bush was a huge problem too so enough with the bush derangement syndrome
- I think we need to value our manufacturing sector more. With the jobs flowing overseas for cheap labor, America is losing a lot of ground.
- elect obama
- Stop thinking that everything is broken and realize that the sky is not falling. Things are pretty good . . . you guys are amazingly spoiled and unappreciative for what you have. Relax . . .geesh. This forum is depressing.
- A President that is one party and a Congress controlled by the other party. And a President that doesn't veto everything.
- Restore the Constitution.
- Support the following candidate, and make sure others learn about him and his stance on critical issues as well: http://www.dennis4president.com/home/
- Eliminate lobbyists, AIPAC first.
- Economy Get government out of it. Housing We are going through a natural correction. Companies that made bad loans need to fail. This is cyclical Debt Stop spending and pay it down. Iraq Win it Social Security Allow anyone who wants to to opt out. Take 1/3 of current SS $ and keep it to pay off the existing liabilities. Take the remainder for those who choose to and let them invest it in private accounts. It works in Galveston County TX. Health care Eliminate illegals and that will stop bankrupting hospitals. Use private businesses to solve the problems. Get and keep government out. Environmental issues Go after the real polluters: China, Russia, etc. End the idiotic ethanol idea. Diplomacy Defeat all enemies. Stop talking The China/India problem is caused by our tax system. Implement the Fair Tax Borders Build the walls. Go after employers.
- Economy is already strong...Housing market can be fixed if people don't buy more house than they can afford...Debt can be fixed by cutting useless government programs (Welfare,etc)...War in Iraq is necessary (Even dems admit they can't get everyone out of Iraq until at least 2013)...Social Security (Scrap it, it's just another socialist program - Plan your own retirement)...HealthCare - (Competition)....Environment (Global Warming is a myth)....Jobs being sent overseas (americans need to make products worth buying, and government needs to stop taxing corporations and sending them overseas)....Education (Scrap the abysmal government school system and introduce competition)...The only incompetence in this country are democrat voters.
- By taking responsibility for our own actions instead of looking to get bailed out,cut taxes permanently, pass a fair tax or national sales tax enforce the laws on the books instead of looking the other way Stop blaming the Government for everything we survived Cartier and Clinton we can survive anything we don't need a bigger Government or more laws we need to enforce the Laws we have yes I know I said this already but its true we need to deal with real life situations with real solutions not BS like Global warming or National healthcare lets deal with Facts instead of rhetoric the basic answer is we need to set aside personal opinions and start using common sense I know I know its a lot to ask but in my opinion thats what it will take
- While I agree, the sky is not falling. We do have some serious issues that need to be address now. -The people we elect need to have the entire country, all people, in mind when making decisions. -One quot the says it all: Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country. -We need serious Social Security reform. People are not saving for their future, 401k and other retirement accounts are good, people are not saving enough, and SS in not gong to be there for them. -We need people off welfare. There should be a time or dollar amount limit. People on welfare and in public housing should be require to be drug tested. If they don't have a job, the should be require to do community service. -Immigration: Enforce the laws we currently have on the books. No such thing as anchor babies. - Some people are going to have to move, they have bought too much house and can't afford them. (IMO, These are also the people that are not funding their retirements properly, they want in now.) -The War, I won't get into this except to say, we have to finish what we started. Our elected officials voted overwhelmingly to do this, which means it's not Bush's war. We are all in this together.
