Debt Problems
Where can i look to see if my family can get some kind of public/financial assistance?
i am not even sure what I am looking for? Food stamps maybe? we are heavy in debt and can barely pay for food, let alone our bills. i am unemployed and unable to work due to a back injury, my dh works hard but the money isn't enough.

- In the US, it's the Dept of Health and Human Services that might be a good place to start.
- Awww sweetie, I'm so in your spot! Check Department of Social Services, or Department of Human Resources. Also Churches are an excellent source if you need food right away, and can help you with many things. Call around and find out where the food pantries are, any of the three I've recommended can tell you where those are. And personal tip, cuz' I've been there... Catholic Churches, Catholic Social Services, and Lutheren churches are the most willing to help regaurdless of your faith. (But don't rule out others...)Sometimes they even help with gas vouchers too. Just keep your head up and know you're not alone... many of us are in the same boat. I will pray for you. -Vickie
